I have med. brown hair with blonde highlights....?

i want to dye my hair an all over carmel color.... what over the counter product might i use that will lightin the dark hair

i would wait untill the highlights are as not noticible or try getting them taken out i have the same hair type and color and i wouldnt advise over the counter as it may interfere with the blonde. Also over the conter products are also not as good for your hair you may be better going to a hairdresser and getting an expert opinion.
