yes its the same as 10 volume so it won't lift much though..if you are brown it will be brassy highlights..but the thing is you need an activator to get the bleach working...if you have jolen creme u can use their activator...and tin foil and a brush to put on the bleach and then fold it bottom up side to side and pin ..but u know this may not come out the way u want it too..you could always part hair the way u want to wear it and then use a paintbrush and brush in highlights starting from close to scalp and work down in the hair shaft

You could comb small amounts into your hair and then blow dry it, but I would suggest that you use very small amounts. Using peroxide is not a good way to lighten your hair. It'll look trashy if you do it the wrong way, and it's going to be pretty easy to mess it up.
