I just colored mine back to a rich brown.. I do it all the time.. I get highlights in the summer and then want it back to the original color in the winter...

Yup, it will turn green as the dye washes/fades out. They highlights will keep coming back because the blond hair was stripped. Go to a salon and get it colored. Experienced it

Yes it is, at a proper salon. Not at home. But remember it is very very very hard to go back blond. I have done this before and im still trying to go back to blond. You might find that you need to get your hair died more than once (dark) because after the first dye, due to the hilights it may start to lighted after around 3 weeks

I was a hair dresser for two years! I have died my hair alot! It is safer to go from light to dark. Your hair will feel alot smoother and not so dry! Be aware that the colour will fade quite quick and that you myt have different shades in your hair where the blonder highlight were but in experiance that can look really natural and fashionable! Also if you dont like it it will take you a long time to get your hair back to blond and will be bad for your hair. Try to use some condition treatments once you have coloured it to keep it in good condition and use colour protection shampoos which you can buy from supermarkets. The best brand that I think is good is John Freda but then if you would like a cheaper brand herbal essence and Loreal are good to.

It should be fine, however just be aware that it wont be dark brown over the blonde but maybe a washy brown colour.

Its safe to do but your blond highlights won't be as dark brown or black as the rest of your hair will be. The blond hair will always be lighter and can look weird as it grows out. (This happened to me.) But, if you go to a salon, they should be able to dye it to cover the blond. After trying at home several times, over a month, and having the highlights show as a weird reddish brown color, I had to go to a salon to have my hair "rescued"

i Work In A Hairdressers and you have to get it stripped first. the highlights will turn ginger or a horrible colour. the die will not cover the highlights if you have had them done in a hairdressers

you need to go to a hairdressers or a warehouse to get the stuff

its just called eraser and it takes the artificial colour off your hair :)

they would go ginger or even green mines went green (dont ask why ) and blk or brown is hell to die over or get rid ov and cost a bomb wen ur doing ur roots all the time !!:D
