I have naturally dark hair, and i got blonde highlights put in..i thought they were a little to brig

so the stylist put in a toner, but that made all of my hair dark, and now you can't even see the hightlights..is there anything i can do(without spending more money at the salon) to make it so its not so dark, and see my highlights?

Try a wash of lemon juice. That can lighten the most recent rinse and help the hair appear lighter.

In the future, if your hair is not what you wanted, make them do it again until it is right. You are paying for a service. If you took your car to a mechanic and got it out and it would turn on, but wouldn't run, would you pay for it or make them finish the job?

You can use a shampoo and conditioner for blonde hair. It brings out the light shades, or something lol

hope it helps ;0)

Try washing your hair with highlight shampoo, rinse it with plain water then pore on beer let it set for a few min then rinse it out and condition, that will bring out a few highlights.

Lemon works well for lighten hair...sometimes i put lemon juice on my hair and go outside and set in the sun for a while.

well all you can do is wash your hair everyday with cleansing shampoos, and no tyhe ones that preserve the shampoo colour. This will fade the new colour, and in time { a few weeks } the highlights will obviusly stand out than the shaded hair. good luck.
