i have an olive/light tan skin. my hair is very dark brown, almost black. i want to get brown hightlights that are a few shades lighter than my natural color. would this look cute on my hair? also, what is a good hightlights coloring kit that lasts long. what about a hair color that looks real but washes out in the shower (my mom might not let me get highlights) please include the price. thanks!!!

If you have really dark hair some lighter brown would look good but be careful or you will end up with orange. It is really difficult to lighten hair that dark with a general store product. I would suggest you seek a professional. There is no hair color that highlights that washes out, they all include peroxide which is what lightens the hair.
