ok i went to get something differnt casue i always had my hair the same way...so i got red highlights at first it had a orange look to it...i wanted a dark red that blended in with my naural hair color...soo i freaked out when i saw it was kinda orange so i went to a place to put dark brown semi-perment hair color but its starting to fade away abnd my roots are turning like my naural hair color but i dont know what to do to make it blend in and look natural sooo help ME PLEASE!! lol

Red is notoriously hard to remove from hair as, like blond, it seeps into the hair and stays there. Brown tends to sit on the hair strand and therefore washes out quickly.

If you are not short of money, then you can go to a good salon and have a colour correction.

Failing that, try washing your hair with washing up liquid (sounds strange, but it worked for me) ALWAYS condition your hair if you do this. That will strip the colour and bring it back to your natural shade. This may take quite a few washes before you see a change.

If you wish to dye over the red, you will need to take your hair colour a couple of shades darker to cover the red. Even then, the red is likely to show through in natural light.

well when i got reddish high lights i used dish soup! use it everyday till it comes out i know it sounds silly but it works
