i am the "popular" one it is kinda fun and im kinda sick of jsut blonde hair and i cant get ti cut cb im have to have long hair froa wedding in teh summer 8-10 week brown highlights? would it mayeb make me look liek not a real blonde or dyed hair my mom wont let me ooo life is dumb

I like the idea... but if you are getting darker streaks put in it's called low-lighting, not high-lighting. But I don't think you'll regret your decision!

i think its a yes, it gives it deffination to an all blonde color. you can pick if you want subtle or noticable...just depends on what you want or ask for....

My daughter-in-law is blonde and always gets a few dark brown streaks for definition! They look great in Blonde hair!

copper red would look neat too, and you could do wash outs instead of perm. colored low-lights.

You seem to be very young. With that being said....if your mom won't let you do it, there's no point in asking on here.

Brown coloring in blonde hair is called low lighting.

This is totally off subject but came to mind because of something you mentioned.....

Just curious...why can't you cut your hair just because you're in a wedding? Is the bride requiring all girls to have long hair?? That's just plain ridiculous. When I was young and everyone was starting to get married, one of my friends DEMANDED that all of her bridesmaids look IDENTICAL. We of course all were wearing the same dress and shoes, which is typical BUT she insisted that everyone color their hair the same color, she wanted girls with shorter hair to grow their hair out and the girls with longer hair were to cut their hair the length of the shorter haired girls. She even went so far as to tell everyone they had to buy colored contacts so our eyes were the same color. I told her to go buy some robots or dolls to stand up for her at her wedding because I certainly wasn't going to change my appearance for a wedding!

I declined the invitation to be in the wedding nor did I even go to the wedding after all of that. Some girls get "Bride" CRAZY.

you could go all brown with a semi-permanent dye.

but brown lowlights would be really cute too!
